Beautiful three-point victory for the Gialloblu who conquered a difficult field against an organized team with good individuality. Three points that give oxygen to the standings and smiles to the group, which continues to work from day one with commitment and determination, after three consecutive defeats.

Thus coach Mattioli in the post-match:

“We won by three points a game in which we had to do exactly that. It was the second consecutive away match and, if last week we were the only ones to win two sets in Acqui, yesterday we earned the entire stake on a court where only San Donà had managed to win since the beginning of the season. Only us and them who will be our next opponents.

In the first set we received some good serves but mostly a few balls deflected from the net. From the second, however, we played hard, especially in the break phase, while still keeping the ball exchange high. Sixteen blocks is a number that I’m starting to like, and if our serve and the sixteen blocks have made the difference, in defense we can still improve a lot. We were also good at adapting to changes in the race plan. This team is strong and must realize it, while maintaining humility. The goal is to play well, increase awareness and confidence in every match and in every training session and then get to have fun when it really counts.”
