The Belluno Volley technical staff will be able to rely on an all-round professional: Andrea Vanini. After a brilliant career as an athlete, in the role of setter (four seasons between A2 and A3 with the shirts of Bolzano, Ferrara, Massa and Portomaggiore), the forty-five year old of Emilian origins began coaching in 2021, as Marco Marzola’s deputy , technical guide for rhinos: first “on the doorstep”, in Portomaggiore, then in Bologna and finally in Motta.
PERSONAL GROWTH – «I am in Belluno to support Marzola and the other members of the staff during training and the match – says the new arrival -. Speaking of the match, I deal with match analysis: before and during the match in front of the net.” Vanini will take his place on the bench alongside coach Marzola and the second coach, Roberto Malaguti: «I decided to accept this challenge because it represents an opportunity for personal growth. And for the knowledge of some of the people who make up the staff and the team.”
BOND – The initial impact with the new reality proved to be extremely positive: «I found a cohesive group, eager to do well, competitive and willing to work to achieve the objectives». With Marzola, it is almost superfluous to highlight it, the bond goes beyond the volleyball sphere: «Marco is first of all a friend – Vanini continues -. He was an opponent on the pitch, a neighbor and the one who convinced me to undertake this “profession”.
