Alberto Polo returns to training to regain his condition by the end of the disqualification, set for April 1, 2025, in a Piacenza team that was waiting for the athlete with open arms.

Born in Bassano del Grappa on 7 September 1995, Alberto Polo began his career in the Bassano youth team and then moved to the Trentino Volley youth team in 2012. In the 2017-2018 season he defended the colors of Padova where he remained for three championships and then moved to Piacenza in the 2020-2021 season.

With the Under 23 Italian National Team he won a bronze in 2015 while his debut with the Major team also took place in 2015 at the XVIII Mediterranean Games.

In 2024 Alberto Polo graduated from the three-year Sports Sciences degree.

Elisabetta Curti (President of Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza): “In sport as in life there are situations that put us to the test: we are proud of the motivation that Alberto has maintained in recent years, training his mind without ever losing sight of his goal of returning to play. On a personal note, I hope that his return to the team can celebrate his path of determination with a new season of personal satisfaction and that of our team.”
