Important milestone achieved in the last round of the championship: Yuri Romanò, opposite of Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza and the national team, celebrated 3,000 points in all competitions.
The red and white opposite needed seven points to reach 3000 points in all competitions and in the match lost against Cucine Lube Civitanova Yuri Romanò scored 16 points, the best scorer of the match.
Yuri Romanò, Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic and awarded the Golden Collar of sporting merit, is in his third season in Piacenza with which he won the Del Monte Coppa Italia in the 2022-2023 season while with the national team he won a World Cup in summer 2022, a European Championship in summer 2021 as well as a silver in the European Championship in 2023 and the Universiade in 2019.
