Enrico Zappoli, Brazilian spiker with a very respectable CV, is the new face of Domotek Reggio Calabria. The player, who boasts over 200 appearances in the Serie A championships, arrives on the shores of the Strait with great enthusiasm and the desire to do well.

“In Reggio Calabria for a new challenge”, declares Zappoli, “with new stimuli and the desire to start from scratch. I already know the environment and some of the guys in the team, so I know how to proceed in this new beginning. I’m really excited to enter to be part of a group that is doing so well.”

Zappoli introduces himself to the amaranth fans: “I’m Enrico Zappoli, I’ve been in Italy for 10 years now. I’m a spiker in place four and I come from Brazil. I hope that on Sunday we can see many of us at the arena for the big match on Sunday at 6 pm against Joy of the Hill”.

What convinced him to embrace the Reggio Calabria project?

“The ambitions of the company, the desire to do well and do things properly”, explains Zappoli. “And then the fact of returning to the South, which for me is always a pleasure.”

A roster of old acquaintances

Zappoli meets up with several old acquaintances in Reggio Calabria: “I already know some guys: Domenico Laganà, Saverio De Santis and Marco Soncini. And then, obviously, Mister Polimeni as well as my compatriot Sergio Dal Pozzo”.

A blend of experience and quality

Zappoli’s arrival represents an important reinforcement for Domotek, which aims to consolidate third place in the standings and reach the playoffs. An experienced player, with a great desire to win and give his contribution to a team that is already doing very well.
