Staff that wins cannot be changed. After that of Daniele Morato, at Delta Group Porto Viro also comes the confirmation of Massimo Zambonin, who in the next sports season will be called upon to cover the dual role of second coach and sports director.
Experience, technical preparation and knowledge of the environment are the precious baggage that Zambonin brings with him in this latest chapter of the collaboration with Delta Volley, which began in 2018 and continued until today with various roles: head coach of the first team, then technical director and sports director, as well as responsible for the youth sector. The latter role which he did not abandon even last summer when he accepted the bench of Volley Lions Clodia in the Women’s B1 Series, a brief interlude before returning, on a permanent basis, to the court of president Veronese as assistant to coach Morato .
“It is a very gratifying reconfirmation, which repays me for all the work done not only this year but also in previous seasons – comments Zambonin – I thank the club which gave me the opportunity to continue giving my contribution, I will face the next one season with renewed stimuli and motivations that will be even stronger than when I started my journey with these colors. The dual role is an interesting opportunity, I like the task I am called upon to carry out: my responsibilities will not only be limited to the technical area, but will also concern the managerial and management part”.
Precisely as DS, Zambonin is working on the reconstruction of the Delta Group roster, “a very important challenge for all the technical and corporate staff who will have to work in synergy and create the right conditions to make a young group competitive in a difficult and as important as the Serie A2 Credem Banca.
