Tommaso Zagni will join Fanuli for another season: the second coach confirms his stay in Reggio Emilia.
After a complicated season which saw Reggio save itself on the last day and compete in the round of 16 of the Italian Cup, Zagni was able to gain experience in the second men’s series for the first time: “For me the balance of the year is still positive, because I was able to learn more about the A2 championship, its dynamics and the style of volleyball that is played in this category in which I will have the pleasure of coaching next season too. Now we are building the new team, it will be a mix of experience and young people who will be able to do well.”
Next year you will join Fabio Fanuli again, do you think you are a good couple?
“I got along very well with Fabio, there was an excellent feeling right away and I thank him for the trust he gave me throughout the season. By collaborating together again we will consolidate our relationship even further to make the team work better. He is a person like few others: sincere, with very high knowledge of volleyball and locker room management, thanks also to his experience as a former player. Our goal is to suffer less than the last 2 years and aim to regain the serenity of two years ago.”
