Last Saturday it was Lube’s monologue, but for Yuasa Battery the first official outing was full of ideas to immediately understand and interpret the level of play they will have to reach in order to compete in the top Italian championship, the Super League.
Friday 6 September, starting at 6.30 pm, the first useful opportunity to understand if, after a handful of days, there has been some growth from a technical and gaming perspective. New joint training between the two clubs from the Marche region, which will meet in Porto San Giorgio, thus giving birth to the new home of the Yuasa Battery, namely the PalaSavelli, which for obvious reasons is still largely under construction.

Civitanova has just returned from another midweek friendly match, on Wednesday evening at the Eurosuole against Fano, newly promoted to A2: a match that lasted just over an hour, in which the newly elected captain of the Balaso cooking team and his teammates played imposed in all partials with a wide margin, also allowing themselves the luxury of keeping Nikolov, still convalescent, at rest. The Turkish opposite Lagumdzija, the last to arrive in chronological order, joined the group last Tuesday after the double qualifying match for the 2026 European Championships with his Turkey. Also included is the Olympic champion Chinenyeze, who as a precaution was not used last Saturday with Grottazzolina.
