The now traditional presentation of the Volley Savigliano first team took place on the evening of Friday 4 October, in front of a large audience, in view of the 2024/25 sports season, which the blue and whites will still experience in Serie A3 Credem Banca .
In the evocative setting of Palazzo Taffini d’Acceglio in Savigliano, the ball was opened by a “nostalgic moment”: a celebratory video to remember the excellent results of the 2023/24 vintage, with the peak reached with the first historic participation in the final four of the Del Monte Italian Cup A3.
Then, under the careful guidance of Simona from Trs Radio, the first to take the stage was the president Guido Rosso, who explained how it was “difficult to repeat ourselves last year after the previous season, and instead we were even better. We reached the final four of the Cup, where we had the honor and misfortune of facing the team that would later win. This year? We got a taste for it. The bar has been raised, but we will try to do even better.”
Patron Rosso then welcomed the mayor of Savigliano Antonello Portera, who complimented the company on the results achieved in recent years, then returning to an issue that emerged in recent days also with a pinch of irony: “They are so good that they put us in spatial difficulties. We take full responsibility for this and will try to do everything possible to meet your needs in the future, starting from the draft project of the new school complex, which we will present and in which we hope to also have local sports entities with us”.
