In front of a large audience (around 200 people), Smartsystem Essence Hotels Fano supported the second consecutive joint training session within friendly walls.
The opponents of the Erm Group San Giustino, historic challenger of the Virtussini in Serie A3, held their own against the Fano team, particularly in the initial phase of the match and then surrendered in the subsequent ones.
Coach Mastrangelo rotated his players, leaving only Alessandro Acuti to rest as he needs to recover from a muscle problem.
Once again the serve proved to be Smartsystem Essence Hotels’ extra weapon (14 aces, of which 3 from Merlo and Klobucar) but even with the block (9) the Fano players made themselves heard.
It should be highlighted that, unlike the test against Porto Viro in which the Klobucar-Roberti duo made their debut, Mister Mastrangelo started with the Klobucar-Merlo duo while Federico Roberti came on during the match.
