The summer preparation in view of the 2024/2025 SuperLega season comes into full swing for Rana Verona, who next weekend, precisely on 7 and 8 September, will be the protagonist in the city of Częstochowa, Poland, for the sixth edition of the Memorial Janusza Sikorskiego. The competition, which will take place at the Hala Sportowa Częstochowa facility, is dedicated to the memory of coach and teacher Janusz Sikorski.
An important appointment for the team led by Coach Stoytchev, who will participate in the prestigious friendly tournament together with three important teams in Polish volleyball such as the hosts KS Norwid Częstochowa, ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle and GKS Katowice. In the first match, scheduled for Saturday 7 September at 7.00 pm, the Scaligeri will face ZAKSA, this year coached by Andrea Giani, while the following day, Sunday 8 September at 6.00 pm, Rana Verona will face the host team KS Norwid Częstochowa.
