The situation in the Super League having been temporarily put on hold, Credem Banca, Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia, Mint Vero Volley Monza and Allianz Milano return as protagonists on the European stages in view of the 3rd day of the Group Phase of the CEV Champions League 2025. Milan and Perugia lead their groups with six points gained in the first two European outings, Monza is leading its group with 5 points gained in the first two matches played. All the CEV Champions League 2024 matches of the Italian teams will be broadcast exclusively co-live on Sky and DAZN.
The first team to take the field will be that of Massimo Eccheli: Monza awaits the trip to Germany where they will challenge, at 6.30 pm on Tuesday 3 December, the hosts Helios Grizzlys Giesen, currently at the bottom of the Pool A standings with two defeats in as many matches. However, an appointment not to be missed for the Brianza team, who will want to make up for it after the defeat suffered in the Super League against Perugia. At 8.45pm on Tuesday, all eyes will be on the e-work Arena in Busto Arsizio (Milan), where Roberto Piazza’s team awaits the Polish team of Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie: challenges between the top of the class, given that both teams have achieved the maximum from the first two cup outings and will compete for the top of the table in Pool C. On Wednesday afternoon (4.00 pm Italian time) it will instead be Perugia’s turn: the team coached by Angelo Lorenzetti will visit the Turks of Halkbank Ankara, just one point behind the Block Devils in the standings and eager to try to overtake the Italian team.
