In less than two months the 19th edition of the Club World Championship will begin, the Club World Championship organized by the FIVB which will bring together eight elite clubs from all over the world from 10 to 15 December 2024, at the Sabiazinho Arena in Uberlandia, Brazil, representing the best of men’s club volleyball.
Two Italian teams will take part: Itas Trentino, by virtue of the victory in the last edition of the CEV Champions League, and Cucine Lube Civitanova, which qualified for the event as the best semi-finalist, second CEV ranking, to replace the Polish team of Jastrzebski Wegiel (finalist), who has not confirmed his participation. The composition of the groups and the match schedule will be announced in the next few days. The event will be visible live on VBTV and DAZN.
The last edition of the Club World Cup in Brazil was in 2022, when Betim hosted the 17th edition of the event on that occasion. The current reigning Champions, winners last season and also in the previous one, are the players of Sir Sicoma Perugia.
