The fifth training camp in Felina di Volley Tricolore ends.
On Wednesday 14 August, after the last morning training at the Wellness Village Onda della Pietra and after lunch at the Aquila Nera in Felina, the team returns to Reggio Emilia.
After the evening spent at the Bocciofila Felinese, athletic training starts again on Tuesday 13 August with a weights and swimming session and training on the sand in the afternoon.
In the evening, for the first time in recent years, the team was a guest of the Black Out Party in Toano. The party, organized by the Pro Loco of Toano, had as its spokesperson Roberto Zanini, a great friend of Conad Reggio Emilia given his collaboration with the women’s mountain team, the Apennino Volley Team.
The team was presented at the town festival of Toano and the general director Loris Migliari wanted to thank us for the hospitality and welcome that the mountain has reserved for the new group from Reggio Emilia.
The comment of the first coach Fabio Fanuli at the end of the retreat: “The retreat, like every year, I think went well, I think we have achieved the objectives for which we come here to Felina and Castelnovo Ne’ Monti: first of all the issue of physical reactivation and of a reconditioning after the off-season period, then the aspect of the formation of the group from the more human side was important and that is very useful for us to give us feedback and lay the foundations for the formation of a group. Very exciting and useful is the part of discovering the territory and the excellences that the Reggio Emilia mountains offer, such as the Pietra di Bismantova and other commercial realities that we had the opportunity to visit. It was nice to see and greet the fans and the mountain community again.”
The coach continues: “From my point of view I am very happy, the boys responded well, and it means that they also worked during the summer for what we had set out to do. From my point of view there are all the foundations to be able to build the team now starting from when we return to training in Reggio on Monday 19 August.”
