The third week of preparation for the Block Devils began in Pian di Massiano, engaged in the morning in the usual muscle strengthening session in the gym, followed by differentiated work with the ball and reception work on the playing field. In the afternoon training on the taraflex, under the orders of coach Angelo Lorenzetti. The intensity of preparation increases as the days pass, awaiting the return of the players involved in the Paris Olympics.
Block Devils on the court in the Jesi Volley Cup – 2nd Edition
On 14 and 15 September 2024, president Gino Sirci’s boys will take part in the second edition of the “Jesi Volley Cup”, an international quadrangular event scheduled at Pala Triccoli, the facility in the Marche region which in the last edition attracted around 4,500 fans and enthusiasts.
In this new edition the protagonists of the Super League Championship will compete, starting with the Italian champions of Sir Susa Vim Perugia, together with Lube Civitanova, Allianz Milano and the vice-Champions of France of Tours Volley-Ball.
Many champions will take to the field in Jesi after having been protagonists with their respective national teams in the Paris 2024 Olympic adventure, starting with the standard-bearers of Sir Susa Vim Perugia: the Italians Simone Giannelli and Roberto Russo, the Japanese Yuki Ishikawa, the Argentinian Augustin Loser and Kamil Semeniuk, fresh from winning the silver medal with his Polish national team. Then there will be Fabio Balaso, Mattia Bottolo, the Canadian Eric Loeppky and the French Barthlemy Chinenyeze and Yacine Louati.
