The fifth edition of the Invictus Sports Literary Award, the most important national event of sports literature in Italy, closed yesterday in the room of the Cisterna Municipal Library of Latina “Adriana Marsella”. First place was awarded to “La forma dei dream” by Andrej Longo (Sellerio), elected winner by the jury chaired by the two-time Olympic champion Davide Tizzano.
On the evening in which the winner selected to represent Italy at the Frankfurt International Book Fair was announced, Cisterna Volley was also there, present on the occasion of the award ceremony for Theo Faure, an athlete returning from winning the Olympic gold with France, awarded as “Athlete of the Year”, together with Paola Fantato, five-time Paralympic archery champion.
