The Board of Directors of You Energy Volley S.S.D.R.L., already promoter of Model 231 in 2021, approved the Organizational and Control Model of Sports Activity and the Code of Conduct for the Protection of Minors on 9 December. These tools aim to prevent harassment, gender violence and any form of discrimination, complying with Legislative Decree 39/2021.
At the same meeting, the role of Gregorio Galli as Head of Minor Protection and Safeguarding Head, responsible for combating abuse, violence and discrimination, was confirmed.
This decision responds to the FIPAV Regulation, which requires all companies in the Volleyball League to adopt specific organizational and control models by 31 December 2024, as well as appoint a Safeguarding Manager.
Isabella Cocciolo, CEO, underlined the importance of the path undertaken:
