Today the valid deadline for submitting the admission forms to the Serie A Championships has expired. The Championship Admission Commission of the Serie A Volleyball League is for this reason working on the documents delivered by the Clubs, with the closing of the report expected by on Wednesday 3 July. The material will then be delivered to the Federation and the Board of Directors of the Volleyball League, with the official list of the teams participating in the 80th Serie A Credem Banca Championship.
45 clubs have applied for admission to the 80th Serie A Championship.
Twelve of these have applied to compete in the SuperLega Credem Banca. For Serie A2, fourteen registration applications were submitted, with Pallavolo Franco Tigani Palmi applying to purchase the title from Lupi Santa Croce.
In Serie A3 there were 19 registration requests, including the newly promoted Molise Volley Campobasso, as well as Joy Volley Gioia del Colle who applied to purchase the title from Pallavolo Franco Tigano Palmi; For the moment, the other newly promoted teams, Volley Reggio Calabria and Accademia Volley Ancona, are excluded from the count and, as required by the regulations, they will have until 12.00 on Friday 28 June to present all the documentation, as they are winners of the third and final phase of the Plays. Off to Serie B.
Instead, Pallavolo Bologna and Pallavolo Motta have filed a waiver of registration for Serie A3, as well as the newly promoted from Serie B Polisportiva Tuscania, Scanzorosciate Pallavolo and Pallavolo Caronno Pertusella.
