More and more Italian sport on DAZN, with volleyball at the center of the multisport offer. Starting from next season, the best of the men’s SuperLega and the women’s Serie A1 will be on DAZN, enriching a vertical offer dedicated to volleyball that is further completed, making the live streaming app a point of reference for all fans.
Thanks to a multi-year agreement, all Italian fans will also be able to follow the emotions of the Championship in the app. In fact, until 2026, DAZN will broadcast two of the best matches scheduled every week.
Stefano Azzi (CEO DAZN Italia): “DAZN supports Italian sport. We are very happy to enrich our volleyball offer with a bouquet of such important competitions. By bringing volleyball to our platform and giving visibility to Italian clubs and our national teams, we will reach even more sports fans who will be able to find the best of Italian competitions in one place.”
Massimo Righi (President of the Serie A Volleyball League): “It is now a fact that the spectacle of the SuperLega Credem Banca and Italian volleyball continue to attract the interest of television and carve out an increasingly important role within Italian sport. Thanks to the agreement reached with DAZN, a leading company in sports streaming, we will have four SuperLega matches broadcast on television: two on DAZN (also visible on TV with the Sky decoder) and two on Rai Sport. The one that recently concluded was a great season, with exceptional numbers both in the arenas and of viewers in front of the TV; the best players in the world and some of the most interesting prospects will still play in our championship, without forgetting that Trento and Perugia are European and World Champions respectively, and that our national team is also World Champion. Now all we have to do is enjoy a summer dedicated to the Olympics and VNL, and then dive back into a new exciting season.”
