Stefano Trillini will therefore play at Emma Villas Siena also in the next sports season. The middle blocker born in 1999 in San Severino Marche has signed a contract renewal with the white and blue club. He is the third member of the roster announced by the Sienese team after the setter Thomas Nevot and the opposite Gabriele Nelli, obviously after the confirmation of coach Gianluca Graziosi.
Stefano Trillini, how did you come to sign the renewal of the contract with Siena?
I felt very comfortable in the city, with the club, with the coach. On my part there was a desire to continue the path and I saw the club’s desire to let me stay in Siena. I’m really happy.
What did you like about the Sienese reality?
It’s a good environment, we always try to work well and in a positive way, with the desire to resolve the difficulties we encounter along the way. Even in the least simple moments we saw and felt the closeness of the company and the staff, and this is never taken for granted.
The recently concluded season was a good one for the club, which reached the playoff final: what were the most exciting moments for you?
Certainly the best moment was the victory in game 3 of the playoff semi-final against Porto Viro. It was a good match, we achieved a great success which gave us the chance to go and play in a playoff final.
You had nice words for coach Gianluca Graziosi.
I knew he was a great coach and now that I’ve worked with him I can certainly confirm that. I’m happy to continue to remain in a team coached by him.
The company has already communicated the confirmation of setter Thomas Nevot…
I’m very happy, he’s an excellent volleyball player and also a very good boy. He works a lot, I get along well with him both on and off the pitch.
Emma Villas has also signed the opposite Gabriele Nelli: what do you think?
We still don’t know each other personally. He is a great player and I know that he is a boy who works and puts a lot of effort into training in the gym. He is a serious professional, an excellent volleyball player.
