The Italian champions Sir Susa Vim Perugia will open the dance at the Pala Wanny in Florence in the upcoming edition of the Del Monte® Supercoppa SuperLega 2024.
The Block Devils will take the field in the first of the two semi-finals, scheduled for Saturday 21 September at 3.30 pm with Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza, with Diretta Rai Sport and VBTV; The second semi-final will then take place, between Itas Trentino and Vero Volley Monza, at 6pm, broadcast live on Rai Play and VBTV.
The following day, Sunday 22 September, the match that will award the title will be staged on Rai Sport at 6.00 pm and VBTV.
After the end of the 2023/24 season which saw President Gino Sirci’s club win the title of Italian Champions, everything is therefore ready for the start of a new and exciting season which this year will open in Florence with the Del Monte® Supercoppa SuperLega, an event that awards the first title of the season, in the week before the start of the 80th Serie A Championship.
The four teams that will compete at the Pala Wanny in Florence are the two protagonists of the Scudetto and Italian Cup Finals, Sir Susa Vim Perugia and Vero Volley Monza, as well as Itas Trentino and Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza, who qualified by virtue of their placement last season .
