Start of the week with a bang as Gabbiano Farmamed approaches its second A3 Credem Banca championship. Today and tomorrow coach Serafini’s team will be protagonists in two events. This evening at 7pm the team will be presented to the press and the city at the Terrazza San Lorenzo in the presence of the sporting and political authorities. An appointment that is repeated after it brought good luck last year. It will be repeated tomorrow, this time at 6.45pm, with the luxury friendly match with the Philippines national team on tour in Italy in view of the World Cup which will be played in 2025 in the Asian country.
In the presence of the sponsors and the city authorities, the Gabbiano Farmamed unveils the Terrazza San Lorenzo with a panoramic view of the city. The company’s intent is to increase its supporters after the first season in A3 Credem Banca which led to excellent results. To repeat or improve the good things done in the first year, everyone’s support is needed to reward the company’s efforts. This year too, the Gabbiano Farmamed appears at the starting line with good credentials and with some adjustments in the roster but still trusting in the hard core that has consolidated since the B years.
Tomorrow at 6.45 pm friendly match at the PalaSguaitzer with the Philippine national team: «Certainly an unprecedented test match – explains sports director Nicola Artoni – which we are curious to play because it’s not every day that you face a national team. I don’t know much about the Philippines but we will give our best trying to put our volleyball on the field.”
