With the conclusion of the first round, Sonepar Padova is ready to take stock of this first part of the Championship, which proved to be intense and full of challenges. The team, led by coach Jacopo Cuttini, demonstrated commitment and compactness, maintaining a constant level of competitiveness and laying solid foundations to face the second round with determination.

During the first eleven matches, the group showed good progress, especially in the ball exchange phase, as highlighted by Captain Marco Falaschi.

Marco Falaschi: “We have to grow, but the foundations are solid”.

How do you evaluate the team’s performance in this first phase of the Championship?

“I think it’s in line with the goals we set for ourselves at the start of the season. Our main objective is to save ourselves in the Super League as soon as possible, and I would say that we are not in a bad situation. We played good matches maintaining a constant level of play, especially in the ball substitution phase, which allowed us to always remain competitive. Obviously there were mistakes, and it is precisely these that we need to improve on.

What should we improve on in view of the second round?

“We must continue to do what we are already doing, that is, working well and hard in the arena, demanding something more from ourselves day after day. It is essential to always keep the pace high and, in particular, we must improve the break phase, i.e. serving, blocking and defense. This will be fundamental to make a leap in quality.
