In view of the joint training between Sonepar Padova and Vero Volley Monza, scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday 14 September, at 4.00 pm, at the Opiquad Arena in Monza, coach Jacopo Cuttini shared his reflections on the team’s state of form and the continuation of training sessions in view of the start of the SuperLega 2024_25 season.

With the arrival of Mayo Liberman, Padova roster is finally complete. “Liberman, the last athlete missing, joined us on Tuesday and after a week of training he fit perfectly into our mechanisms.” – Coach Cuttini commented – “Having a young team helps a lot in these cases: his teammates immediately welcomed him and Shay is demonstrating remarkable speed in learning. We are doing, in my opinion, excellent team work.”

The coach also took stock of the training sessions and underlined the overall improvement in pace with the full team. “The level of training is certainly higher than in previous weeks. We are able to do exercises that were not possible until recently. We are trying different solutions, also because this year we will adopt a particular module, playing with three spikers. We are testing them all, looking for various combinations, also in light of the fact that Tommaso Stefani is recovering from meniscus surgery. The one who is expressing himself best is certainly Masulovic. He immediately made himself available to the team, and is continuing to work on other fundamentals as well. Little by little we are finding the right balance.”
