Marco Soncini is ready for the challenge.
Born in 1996 from Argentina.
He wore the jerseys of Tunuyán de Mendoza, Vélez Sarsfield and Monteros Vóley Club, the last step before the transoceanic flight landing in Calabria, Palmi’s first Italian experience in A3 before playing for Aurispa Delcar Alessano.
Here are his impressions. How’s it going?
“It’s going well.
I am happy and proud to be in Calabria.
It’s not the first time I play in the region but I feel really good in Reggio.
I’m happy to see friends with whom I have shared experiences.”
The new group?
“I found a young group, with a lot of desire.
The first few weeks of work are going very well.
We are working a lot.
We are excited for the next appointments.
We want to continue like this throughout this pre-season period to be ready for the official races.”
The goal?
“Always get as high as possible. First safety, then the PlayOff and then fighting against anyone.”
Argentina and Reggio?
“I know everything.
I am aware that, in the multi-sports field, the Argentines, both in football with Reggina and in basketball, with Viola and especially with Ginobili have done great.
I’m here to try to confirm this positive trend, finding fertile ground in Reggio to do well.”
