Simone Anzani will be part of the Modena Volley middle department for the 2024/2025 season. Born in Como in 1992, Anzani returns to the gialloblù after the experience of 2018-2019, when he won the Italian Super Cup, the last one put on the board by Modena. He is the reigning world champion thanks to the gold he won as a protagonist in Poland in 2022, in the blue jersey he also won the European Championship in 2021 and the European bronze in 2015. The middle blocker has been at Lube Civitanova for four seasons, with whom he won two Scudetti and two Italian Cups and established himself among the best interpreters of the role in the entire Super League.
