Another purchase from Conad: central Nicholas Sighinolfi arrives from the Modena Super League.
Modenese DOC born in 1994 comes from a year in the Super League with Valsa Group Modena, a team with which he played in Serie A1 already at 19 years old, preceded by four seasons at Puliservice Acqua San Bernardo Cuneo, with which he moved up from Serie A3 to Serie A2: “After a year of super league, very intense but also fun, I feel grown up, I wanted to test where my level was and I did. Even though the team’s results weren’t excellent, we still had a good season in which I trained a lot and had to deal with some of the strongest players in history.”
In what spirit do you return to Serie A2?
“I return to A2 with an extra push, Reggio was the most appropriate choice given my desire to stay close to home. I have already met most of the team, many even from opponents, and I meet Paolo Bonola with whom I spent the 2020-2021 season in Cuneo. We seem like a good group, we will certainly have to work a lot but I am convinced that we will be competitive. I also met the staff and they all seem perfectly capable and prepared to put us in the best possible conditions.”
