SERIE A IS FOR EVERYONE, the important initiative of CUS Cagliari which takes the athletes and the rossoblù technical staff around Sardinia, to the home of the small volleyball clubs furthest from the capital.
Bringing the A3 Series to life and bringing the entire volleyball movement closer to the highest category in the region, seeing the athletes at home and feeling part of a sport that is growing at a regional level.
Once a week in the pre-season phase, Coach Simeon’s boys will visit the volleyball clubs furthest from the capital with the aim of strengthening a growing movement and making the young rossoblù athletes known to fans and enthusiasts further afield. The initiative began on Wednesday 11th, with the second stage taking place tomorrow in Muravera.
The first appointment with the “Serie A belongs to everyone” initiative was in Iglesias, with a large audience showing a great welcome to the players and staff in the training institute building.
«We are very satisfied with this first stage» declares the head of the volleyball sector, Alessio Marotto. «We trained in front of a warm audience who supported our players by actively participating in every attack. Thanks to the children, parents and managers of the Sulcis teams. Thanks to Volley Iglesias for their welcome and availability”
