Having archived the exciting weekend of the “Elio Maisano and Antonella Fedele Tournament”, the 𝗢𝗺𝗶𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗶 returned to the field for another demanding challenge, participating in the inauguration of the “Pino Smargiassi” Sports Hall in Civita Castellana. An intense day, lived in the name of volleyball, which saw the team led by coach Andrea Radici compete against very respectable opponents in a tournament that put the roster to the test in view of their debut in the championship.

The day began with the 10:00 match against the hosts Ecostanga Civita Castellana. The team immediately demonstrated its value, prevailing with a clear 2-0 in a match that allowed coach Radici to rotate all the players, guaranteeing precious playing minutes for each member of the roster. It was an important opportunity to refine the mechanisms tested during training and continue the process of physical and tactical growth of the team.

In the afternoon, the final saw 𝗢𝗺𝗶𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗶 face Evolution Green Aversa again, an opponent already encountered in the “Elio Maisano” Tournament. Despite the commitment and determination shown on the pitch, Palmi’s team had to give in to Aversa, who prevailed with a decisive 2-0, winning first place in the tournament. Aversa was able to better manage the key moments of both sets, demonstrating a solidity that made the difference.
