The Gialloblu brigade led by coach Marco Camperi made its debut this weekend, with a fourth place at the Paolo Cois Tournament after defeats against Cuneo 3 to 1 and against Sorrento in the tie break.
Romoli and his teammates, in their third week of working in the gym, are starting to show their soul: enthusiasm, quality, character.
We have collected our coach’s feelings on the first seasonal outings:

“I am very satisfied with how the team expressed itself, on Saturday I was also surprised, because we put into practice details that until now we had only talked about but never trained, I am referring above all to being patient in attack, not forcing all the shots, but try to play again and keep the ball. Even though we were coming from the first week of six against six, the boys tried to implement these indications and it helped us to close the match against Cuneo with very few errors in attack and excellent efficiency in the fundamentals. We will have to work a lot on the block, I think it was the thing I liked least along with the serve which however we only focused on in one session: I am convinced that more than one player will find the right serve to put any opponent in serious difficulty. Sunday’s match against Sorrento was still profitable, despite some players not being available due to various but physiological problems at this time of the season. After a first set and part of the second, in which we did very well, we started to progressively decline from a physical point of view, but we’re okay.
The sensations are very positive, the ball exchange went well overall for the entire first match and part of the second.
