Francesco Sani’s bond with Rana Verona is extended. The spiker will be part of the Scaliger roster until 2028, a sign of the continuity that the Club has adopted in recent years. The hammer born in 2002 is preparing to face the second consecutive season in the SuperLega championship, after having collected 27 appearances and having scored 113 points in his debut year in the top Italian tournament.
Francesco Sani commented with satisfaction on the extension: “Verona Volley believed in me from the first moment. He gave me confidence and offered me the chance to play in the most important league in the world. I had already known the environment for a few years and in recent months I have had confirmation of how high the quality of the work and the attention to detail is. I am very grateful for the opportunity that was given to me and happy with how the first season went, which also allowed me to make my debut with the Italian national team. I intend to get great satisfaction with Rana Verona.”
Thus the President of the Club Stefano Fanini: “Since the first day he wore the Rana Verona shirt, Sani has immersed himself in our reality as best as possible, making himself available to the team with commitment and dedication. Over the course of this last season, although still very young and having his first experience in the Super League, he has made notable progress in his growth path: he is a 2002 athlete who is taking the first steps of his career, already called up to the national team and on which we are aiming for as we have ample room for improvement. We are happy that he has decided to continue to be part of our project for a long time, where everyone’s contribution is fundamental with a view to constant development.”
