We hoped that with the new year a few things had changed: it was supposed to be a year of relaunch, where winning the play offs should have been an objective to be achieved without difficulty, but instead it was a very difficult year, as was the most recent match in Sardinia.
This year in general we are encountering many difficulties: at the beginning injuries put a spanner in the works. However, even from the level of the matches it was clear that the team wants to improve and put in the effort. Against Sarroch we saw the desire to win and to stick to the set until the end. The period is certainly not the best, but let’s say that with the desire to do, we should be able to come out of it in the best possible way.
Can you tell us something about yourself?
I arrive from the youth teams of Zinella and Pallavolo Bologna. My volleyball career took place mainly here in Bologna between various provincial and regional championships. I also participated in national championships and after several years in Serie C I had the opportunity to play in the first team.
What do you do besides volleyball?
I study physics here at the University of Bologna
What differences did you notice between the C series and the A3 series?
The main difference is on a physical level, because the players in Serie A3 are tall, strong and experienced. So the physical gap is really important. There is also a lot of difference at the organizational level, in fact I was pleasantly surprised. Experiencing the matches with the public and supporters is a wonderful experience, and the responsibilities also increase as you move up the category.
