Tomorrow, for Cisterna Volley, the first of two away matches will begin which will close a rich and intense first week of November. The team, led by coach Falasca, will be guests of Allianz Milano in advance of the tenth day of the championship. The match is set to start at 8pm on Thursday 7 November at the Allianz Cloud. The race was originally scheduled for December 1st, but a change to the calendar was requested due to the unavailability of the Milan facility on that date.
PREMATCH – Having abandoned twelfth place, for Cisterna Volley a victory would mean overtaking the Milanese, currently ninth in the standings with six points, two more than the Pontini. Falasca will be able to count on the rediscovered Ramon, MVP in the last match against Sonepar Padova, and on the serve of Efe Bayram, who proved to be the best hitter of the last day of the Superlega Credem Banca.
PREVIOUS – Last season, Cisterna and Milano achieved one victory each. In the first leg, the victory went to the Falasca team, marking Cisterna Volley’s first historic success in the Super League. At the Palasport in Viale delle Provincie, Faure was the best on the pitch, with 18 decisive points which allowed us to achieve a full 3-0 success in front of the home crowd. The same result, with roles reversed, was repeated in the return match. In Milan, coach Piazza’s team won 3-0 with Nedeljkovic on top, scoring 9 points overall.
