One in his fourth consecutive season with the rossoblù colours, the other new entry among the ‘little devils’ in this which is their first experience in the Serie A3 Credem Banca.
The EnergyTime Spike Devils Campobasso have defined the roles of captain and vice for the 2024/25 season. And, in some ways, the stripe under the number went to the person who – in some ways – was most natural to be able to boast this badge, that is, the player with the greatest militancy for the club: the Benevento winger Gianmarco Rescignano. His deputy, however, is the one who will be called upon to be the brains on the pitch, namely the Pescara director Lorenzo Piazza.
«I am really proud – explains Rescignano – of this role and I carry many beautiful feelings inside me. I will try to meet all the needs of the group and I will try to carry out my role in the best possible way.”

It is a role of which a player must always be proud, even more so in the ranks of a club with a very young history, a sign, moreover, of the great trust placed in me which I hope to reciprocate in the best possible way.”
With a second week of work starting in these hours, both feel particularly satisfied with what was the first training cycle.
«We have put in a lot of hard work both from an athletic and physical point of view, but it is a necessary phase to be in the best shape when necessary», argues Rescignano.
«Basically it must be considered that we are a good group even off the field – adds Piazza – but, instead, the work we carried out was a week of approach, mainly, both to the overall work and to the surrounding environment. Greater impressions may come from these days when we will also start jumping.”
Both of them, moreover, have sweet words for the rossoblù group.
«It’s an important team – comments Rescignano – and a great team is forming. And this is full confirmation of the substantial work carried out jointly by the technician and management in the staff training phase with a careful choice of the individual elements. They are all true professionals and it is an honor for me to be their captain.”
