Kick-off tomorrow, Sunday 15 December at the PalaAgsm in Verona for the first day of the regular season return round.
Coach Angelo Lorenzetti’s boys present themselves at the starting line of this new phase of the championship as Winter Champions and as undefeated since the start of the season, both in the championship and in the Champions League group stage. The objective is naturally to continue the streak of positive results, growing and strengthening those aspects which in the balance of this first part of the season have proven to be improvable: such as reducing the number of errors while continuing to increase the intensity of the serve and increase the already excellent percentages of the ball change. On the other side of the net, coach Stoytchev’s team, who defined this match as one of the “easiest to prepare”, arrives at this first match of the second round in a growing phase, after the injuries that affected the first part of the season, and will take to the field at full fire, to give the Italian champions a hard time, also leveraging the support of their fans.

THE PRECEDENTS
There are 41 precedents between the two teams in official matches. 34 matches won by Perugia and 7 by Verona. The last direct clash dates back to the first day of the regular season, on 29 September.
