Everything is ready for the start of the 2024-25 sports season: the rossoblù will arrive in Taranto during the weekend and will be busy on Monday 5 August for the first tests and medical visits.

With the absence of Olympic athletes Brodie Hofer and Jan Zimmermann in Paris and D’Heer’s commitment with the Belgian national team for the European Championship, with Alonso arriving in Taranto in the following days, the Ionian city will welcome Filippo Lanza, Aimone Alletti , Luca Paglialunga, Mino Balestra, Andrea Santangelo, Fabrizio Gironi, Diogo Fevereiro, Tim Held, who will join the already residents of Taranto Marco Rizzo and Davide Luzzi and the technical staff with Mister Boninfante, mister Papi, mister Paglialunga, the scoutman Pastore and the trainer Sabato, with the sporting director Corsano and the Primavera general manager.

We will start on Monday morning for the first analyzes after which the athletes will be divided into different groups which will alternate between the Settembrini Pharmacy and the Fisio Elite for individual tests.

The day will be extended because at 7.30 pm at the Virgilio Gardens in Taranto the city with the President of Gioiella Prisma Antonio Bongiovanni, the representatives of the company, the sponsors and the fans will welcome the athletes and technicians of Gioiella Prisma Volleyball.

In the following days, once all the sports medical visits have been completed, from August 7th, the team will begin training at the PalaMazzola, open to the public, and weight sessions at the Gym ’83 gym.
