The 2024 – 2025 season of Tinet Prata has started and, as per tradition, at PalaPrata the atmosphere was like the first day of school. The professor, coach Mario Di Pietro, is new, and many students from the yellow-blue class are also new, who immediately made themselves available to the technical staff with great enthusiasm.
And the first speech made by the coach to the team started precisely from the concept of enthusiasm. “For me – said Di Pietro – the work develops on three fundamental pillars. First of all, we must have great enthusiasm for what is about to be born and what we are creating together. This same state of mind is the right one that will allow us to face and above all overcome any difficulties. It will be very important – and here is the second pillar – to never put your head in the sand, but to address technical or personal problems immediately, without wasting time. To do this – the third fundamental concept – the spirit must be based on cooperation and collaboration both between teammates and towards the technical staff”
General Manager Dario Sanna did the honors: “I couldn’t wait to welcome the new guys and embrace those who were already there – were his first words – our goal always remains to allow you to work to the best of our ability to achieve increasingly satisfactory results. This year we will be able to do it in this structure, the PalaPrata, thanks to the effort made by the Municipal Administration which we thank. This facility, increasingly welcoming and perfect for working professionally inside, is becoming a real model and point of reference in the region and beyond”
Sports Director Luciano Sturam was subtle and witty as always in his short speech: “It’s very easy to find people who create problems. – he argued – We chose you because, instead, we are looking for people who are good at solving them. I usually don’t like talking about goals. In fact, I believe that they should be achieved progressively during the season”
