News from Joy Volley: the arrival of libero Francesco Pierri in the red and white is official.
Having concluded his experience in Serie A2 with Cosedil Saturnia Acicastello yesterday, the twenty-five-year-old libero, originally from Squinzano, arrives in Gioia del Colle for the second career adventure in Serie A3 after the one lived in Casarano in the 2021/2022 season.
The athlete from Salento, who is going to shore up the libero department available to coach Sandro Passaro, after the parenthesis in Sicily (between SuperLega and A2) thus returns to Puglia, where, in the recent past (2022/2023 season), he defended also the colors of Gioiella Prisma Taranto in the top national series.
