Another confirmation arrives at Tricolore: central defender Paolo Bonola will still wear yellow and red.
After a year together, Reggio Emilia decides to reconfirm the 200 centimeter tall center back born in 1992, in his seventh season in Serie A2: “The club immediately showed great interest and, making a summary of what the season was and how I found myself in the city, I decided to stay. I am very happy with the decision I made, but above all with having shown that I can have a good season as a player. In Reggio I found my serenity, I felt in my comfort zone, I believe that for me it was a great year of rebirth on a character level”.
This year the group has become younger, do you think your experience could be an engaging element for the less experienced?
“I have always focused on giving an example to the younger ones, trying to act as a driving force, also given my age. I think that the strength of a roster lies precisely in the group, both on and off the pitch, I will try to take everything good that I experienced this season and transfer it to the new ones. Personally this year I would like to make the playoffs, given that I haven’t played in them for two years, I also think I’m back to a good level on the pitch, but I would still like to improve to achieve greater personal results and with the new group.”
