After announcing some new additions to the staff, it’s time to focus on who remains. He was responsible for coordinating and managing the team and staff in his first year in Serie A, bringing his long experience in professional volleyball to the management’s service, for this reason the company has decided to continue to make use of the precious support of the team manager Oscar Zaramella.

In addition to continuing to be the “liaison” between management staff, technical staff and players, Oscar will also be the only member of last season’s first team staff who will also be present this year. There are still three weeks left until the resumption of training but the planning has already begun in full swing: “With coach Michele Totire and the other staff members we are already planning and scheduling – he says – The meeting will take place on August 26th and then on the 27th it will begin the preparation. With the exception of me, they will all be new, since the technical and methodological needs of a team like the one we will have this year require professional figures with specific skills but above all present full time. There will therefore be a complete staff available to the company from morning to evening. I thank the company for trusting me. Coach Michele is a person who put me at ease straight away, very prepared but also very demanding.”

Last season, in addition to being the first in Serie A for Volleyball La Bollente, was also the first in men’s professionalism for Zaramella who had always held similar roles in the top women’s series: “Last season was my first in the men’s Serie A, despite having long experience in the women’s Serie A: Novara, Riso Scotti Pavia, Ornavasso where I held similar roles. It was a very positive experience for me. At team level we were missing something. We will take advantage of our first season in Serie A to improve this year. The team has an excellent mix of experience and youth and is built to do very well, they will certainly fear us.”

In conclusion, Oscar explains what his role will be: “Compared to last year, the commitment will certainly be greater and we should pay more attention to many aspects by having a team of full-time professionals. I will take care of organizing the training sessions on a logistical level, we are currently defining the program, to meet the needs of the players and staff, especially the first team, but also the youth sector. I will then continue to deal with the management of the Palazzetto di Valenza.
