One week to the start

Exactly one week until the first official moment of the 2024/25 Trentino Volley men’s season. The start of the pre-season preparation of the European Champions is in fact set for the afternoon of Thursday 1st August at the Sanbapolis gym in Trento; given the unavailability of the daily Arena (where summer maintenance and modernization work continues), the functional facility of the university student residence in via Malpensada in Trento will be the headquarters of the first part of the yellow-blue work.
For this date, coach Fabio Soli will have six players from the squad at his disposal: the setter Acquarone, the opposite player Rychlicki, the spiker Magalini and the new faces of the central defenders Bartha and Pellacani and the libero Pesaresi. All the others were justifiably absent, playing with their respective national teams either at the Paris Olympics (Flavio, Kozamernik, Laurenzano, Lavia, Michieletto and Sbertoli) or in collegiate teams (Bristot with Italy Under 20 and Gabi Garcia with the USA). In the first period, as per tradition, the group will be joined by a significant number of members of the junior roster who will play the Serie B Championship again as UniTrento Volley from October.
The technical staff that will assist the Emilian coach from the day of the rally will already be complete and composed of the Assistant Coach Adriano Di Pinto, the Scoutmen Fabio Dalla Fina and Stefano Coser, the Physiotherapist Luca Pirani, the Athletic Trainer Lorenzo Barbieri, the Team Manager Riccardo Michieletto, by the team doctor Mauro Bertoluzza and by the nutritionist Alfonso Presutto.
As usual, the half hour before training starts will be reserved for the media for a first informal contact and for interviews at the start of the season: the exact time will be communicated in the next few days.
