The presentation of the new faces and those reconfirmed at OmiFer Palmi by the blue gold management continues. During the past week it was the turn of libero Francesco Prosperi Turri and spiker Klistan Lawrence accompanied by the reconfirmations of spiker Cristian Iovieno and center back Francesco Corrado.
Meanwhile, the first statements have arrived from Felipe Benavidez, the spiker of Argentine origin who arrived in Palmi with great expectations. The former Abba Pineto and Consar Ravenna player has chosen the shirt number which will be 99: «I can’t wait to get to Palmi and start this new adventure. We have many expectations for this new season and we are waiting for our fans at the stadium to support us. We will give everything.”
Soon the management led by owner Pino Carbone and the technical staff led by coach Andrea Radici will announce the dates of the pre-season retreat and the start of the long-awaited athletic preparation in view of this important competitive season, the first in the A2 series for OmiFer Palms. The journey of the Calabrian team will begin on October 6th with the home debut against the Sicilian Saturnia Volleyball team.
The first away match is scheduled for Aversa on 13 October while the closing of the first round, thirteenth matchday, is on 22 December at home against Abba Pineto while the regular season will end on 16 March 2025 away.
