Matteo Staforini (Allianz Milano): “I’m happy with the result and on a personal level I really missed playing. Then, in this arena, in front of our fans it is always exciting. These are three points that we needed. I think we showed some good things, there were some mistakes in the third set, on balls where we needed to pay a little more attention, then we did well to close in the fourth without losing any points.”

Massimiliano Ortenzi (coach Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina): : “At the beginning we struggled a lot to get into the game with the ball exchange and with the serve we found the wrong areas. Then we tried to turn a little bit, in the third set we got a little fired up from the point from a competitive point of view, we took some winning blocks. There the match changed a little. Fedrizzi came back and also had a couple of good turns on serve, we managed to win that part. We started the quarter well. but then we returned to having the same problem as at the beginning of the match. These are things that we have to do better if we want to take something away from these teams. So, with Trento we had to be happy with the way we were on the pitch we absolutely cannot be satisfied with this level here.”
