The splendid setting of the PalaPanini hosted the usual “Youth Day” event last Thursday, an important day with the Modena Volleyball Youth Sector as a great protagonist. A beautiful evening dedicated to the yellow and blue colors characterized by the usual photos, best wishes for the Christmas holidays and a meeting with the first team.

Taking stock of the situation in the academy was Fabio Donadio, head of the Modena Volley Youth Sector: “It was a very important day, it involved all the teams from our youth sector at the PalaPanini in an evening of discussion for both the boys that for the coaches but also for entertainment with an aperitif at the Time Out – Bar & Store. Within the youth sector we have all categories, from the Under 19s who play in Serie B up to the Under 11s and the training centres. We are happy that some Under 19 boys have also trained with the first team, our goal is to make them grow in the best way and become complete athletes from every point of view. Furthermore, the debut in the Super League has arrived Leonardo Barbanti, who entered the field in the match against Grottazzolina: it was a great satisfaction. Must all this be a starting point and not a point of arrival because there must always be a lot of work between the first team and the youth sector? This can also be seen from the staff, given that each team, such as Under 17 and Under 19, has an athletic trainer who works closely with Oscar Berti, athletic trainer of the Super League, in order to discuss the physical path of the boys, together with the physiotherapists , who are always available.”
