When we chose to start this sports project we strongly oriented ourselves towards a long-term horizon, with a path based on a young staff with great margins for growth. None of us has ever stopped believing in what we are laboriously building and in the values that underlie it: we all knew perfectly well that it was a very ambitious objective given the development times that a project focused on young staff and players necessarily requires .
We understand each of you perfectly: everyone within Modena Volley is deeply sorry because all the efforts we put in and the work we do every day have not always given the results we hoped for.
A project like this requires time, effort, sacrifices and work, and this is exactly what we intend to do despite the difficulties and with even more dedication than what we have done so far. We are the same group that just a month ago beat the Italian Champions and the same one that in the first round showed several times that it knows how to fight until the last ball of 4 tie breaks, but we have lost our way and we need to find it again as soon as possible: each of us is fully aware of this and we are incessantly working to understand, improve and correct our mistakes.
We knew that there would be difficulties, but the extent of them is never completely clear until we have to face them: today we are in the middle of it and today we have chosen to face this moment united by the objectives we have set ourselves .
