The first obstacle for Allianz Milano, in a series of four key matches in ten days, arrives on Thursday evening at 8.00 pm at the Allianz Cloud with the return of the CEV Cup Play Offs. Milano must win with a three-point result (3 -0 or 3-1) against Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie to take the competition to the Golden set. The Warta Zawiercie is continuing its sumptuous run in the Plusliga. On Sunday, with the victory (ninth consecutive championship and cup success) 3-2 over Olsztyn, they took second place. MVP of the match was, with 22 balls hit, once again the fearsome opposite Karol Butryn. He is one of those under special surveillance by the Milanese team, together with the other top of the diagonal, the setter Tavares, capable of a very powerful serve. Allianz Milano will also have to start from a better reception to overturn the first leg match. The Poles deployed the usual 6+1 on Sunday with Tavares-Butryn, Kwolek and the former Clevenot on the flanks, Niszczol and Bieniek in the centre, and the Australian libero Luke Perry. Milan, on the other side of the network, will have all the warmth of its Allianz Cloud.
