Volley Savigliano is pleased to announce that the coach of the first team involved in the Serie A3 Credem Banca championship for the 2024/25 sports season will be Michele Bulleri.
Pisano, born on 29 September 1982, Bulleri is fresh from the prestigious two-year experience at Lupi Santa Croce, of which he was first coach in Serie A2 Credem Banca from 28 March 2023, when he took over from Vincenzo Mastrangelo, until the end of the 2023 football season/ 24.
His, however, is a very long journey within the world of volleyball, now almost twenty years old. After starting out at Cus Pisa, a club in which he was coach in the men’s First Division, he was then a coach in women’s volleyball for a long time at Asd Pallavolo San Bartolomeo Capannoli and then technical director of the “pink” sector of Lupi Santa Croce, before the four-year period as second coach in the French men’s Ligue A at Nantes Rezé Métropole Volley, first of Fulvio Bertini and then of the former libero of Bre Banca Lannutti Cuneo Hubert Henno. Finally, precisely, the return to Santa Croce and the first experience as head coach of a Serie A2 team.
Coach Bulleri does not hide the enthusiasm in his first words in blue and white: “I chose Savigliano because it was love at the first phone call. We spoke and within a few days we said “yes”. The harmony was born immediately because, using a somewhat overused concept, we both want to grow: Savigliano taking one step at a time; me putting myself out there in a place where you can work with serenity, also because in fact my journey as first coach began just a year and a half ago. I think this is the ideal place for me; I appreciated the familiarity, mixed with professionalism, of all the staff and management members. Which team will I coach? Above all, I hope for a determined team, because I believe it can make the difference in a championship which, in 2023/24 even more than in the past, has proven to be very balanced. The contribution of all members of the roster will count.”
