Behind the momentary seventh place of Cisterna Volley and the qualification of the Pontine team to the Quarter Finals of the Del Monte® Coppa Italia there is the skilful direction of Michele Baranowicz, setter of the team coached by Guillermo Falasca. Baranowicz, with 2 MVP awards obtained in the Regular Season matches played in November, was in fact awarded the Credem Banca MVP award for the month of November. The awards arrived on the occasion of Cisterna’s victories against Taranto and against Grottazzolina, respectively in the matches valid for the 8th and 9th matchday of the first round of the SuperLega. The setter born in 1989 won the prestigious award by virtue of the greater number of sets played compared to other players nominated MVP twice in the month of November.

Baranowicz will be awarded on the occasion of the next match at Cisterna’s home ground, i.e. Saturday 21 December against Rana Verona, a match valid for the 2nd return day of SuperLega Credem Banca, with kick-off set for 8.30pm. The challenge will be broadcast live exclusively on VBTV.
