The vice-president of Emma Villas Siena, Fabio Mechini, comments on the first market operations carried out by the biancoblu company: “We are happy to have set up the diagonal, and it is an important diagonal. We know the talents and qualities of Thomas Nevot and we are very happy to have been able to confirm him. We are happy for a whole series of reasons that go beyond the technical aspects, given that we are talking about a boy who has shown himself to be attached to the Emma Villas project and very mature. I believe that together with Gabriele Nelli I can form a good level diagonal for the A2 series, an expert diagonal, I believe that with these players we will be able to play every single match. We are also very happy with the confirmation of Stefano Trillini. His stay in Siena was an objective we set ourselves, he is an important player who has already demonstrated his skills and qualities. We wanted him to stay with us, the club and staff consider him a cornerstone for Emma Villas and we are happy that he will be able to be part of the roster in the next championship.”
Mechini continues: “The relationship with coach Gianluca Graziosi is excellent, we have further extended the contract with the aim of creating a project that can bring us back to the top flight in the coming years. We are not anxious about promotion, but we will try to be ready and in any case we will continue with our path.”
And again: “I would like to salute those players who were part of the roster in this sporting season which saw us reach the playoff final: I think of Riccardo Copelli and Alessio Tallone who will play with Ravenna in the next championship, I think of Sebastiano Milan and to Alessandro Acuti. We will reluctantly say goodbye to Marco Pierotti who will embark on another project. Matheus Krauchuk also received many offers and proposals. We will also say goodbye to Azaria Gonzi who will follow different routes. It’s a shame, because we wouldn’t have wanted to say goodbye to so many kids.
