Matheus Motzo is the new opposite of Wow Green House Aversa. The market of the Norman company led by president Sergio Di Meo opens with a bang. A masterpiece by sporting director Alberico Vitullo who brings to PalaJacazzi a player, born in 1999, born in Brazil but with Italian nationality, who last season was in the Super League with Cucine Lube Civitanova. Despite his very young age (25 years old) he already has over 2 thousand points under his belt and has played in Italy with Club Italia in A2, Pool Libertas Cantù (for three seasons in A2) and then also with Kemas Lamipel Santa Croce also in A2.

Now his determination and strength will be at the service of the Wow Green House: “After a year of Super League which served me a lot both on a human and sporting level, I had decided to return to Serie A2 and find the pitch with greater continuity and as soon as this opportunity arose, Aversa and president Di Meo asked for information about me and with immense enthusiasm convinced me to accept this proposal. I will play in a very ambitious club that wants to grow a lot in the coming years and aspire to increasingly important championships.”

Motzo talks about Lube underlining that he lived “a dream given that I played a whole year with athletes I had only seen on TV. A beautiful experience that gives me great strength also for the next one with the Wow Green House: I will play with another big name in Italian volleyball, Rossini is one of the very few in our country that we can consider a champion. In recent days I have also spoken with coach Tomasello as well as with the managers, there is great ambition and we will try to do our best.”

There is only one promise to the fans: “We will give everything, in every match. We don’t set limits, I’m convinced that we will have fun and that we will win many games. August is upon us, I can’t wait to get started and hug our supporters. We are excited, and we want to take Aversa higher and higher.”
